Just a quick note to thank you for the tours during the last couple of days.  We saw so much and your explanations certainly brought the vistas to life.

The day we spend with you was a highlight of the trip for me very moving and fulfilling ~ Thank you again. We as  Australian never think of the sacrifice other countries made, you bought that to mine attention. Freedom has come a huge price for us all.

John, Tony and I all agreed that one of the best bits of our 7 week holiday was the day with Sacred Ground Tours, it was just fabulous.

This was THE most professional and enjoyable tour that we did during our recent European vacation. Phil’s outstanding knowledge, efficient communication skills and personal service made this a tour I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the French WW1 battlefields.

We visited Arras in Northern France and took two tours with Phil from Sacred Ground tours; one of the Somme and the other to Ypres. We would highly recommend Sacred Ground Tours. Phil was very knowledgeable and helpful and is happy to tailor tours according to individual needs if possible. Very enjoyable and informative experience.

I find it hard to express fully how much I was affected by you and your tour of the Western Front. It was quite simply the best travel event I have experienced.  And I have had many, many trips. Both Lynne and I feel your tour has made a difference in our lives.  It was so moving and yet made us both appreciate my Dad,s experiences -and all the soldiers who took part  –  their exploits and tribulations. Thank you so much for making our tour so meaningful and personal.

We did a whole day trip with Phil covering many of the important battlefield areas finishing with the Last Post at the Menin Gate. It was a very thought provoking, interesting day. Phil is really knowledgeable but puts the information over in a very human relevant manner. He is also very willing to adjust the day wherever possible to suit his clients.
